Summary


FRAC Operator 3 (OP3) will have a thorough knowledge of Hydraulic Horsepower operation and be able to troubleshoot pump issues from behind the pump operation screen. Responsible for confirming high and low side valving is correct prior to rolling a pump over.  Recognizes the importance of preventive maintenance and plans accordingly.  Other duties as required.


Job Duties


  • Operates FRAC pumps safely and at the direction of the treater
  • Communicates clearly with Line Boss. Refuses to roll a pump over until cleared to do so by Line Boss.
  • Ensures safety of personnel and Element equipment by challenging and confirming instructions prior to putting a pump in gear.
  • Monitors health of pumping equipment and communicates issues quickly and clearly to affected personnel.
  • Troubleshoots issues on the fly that may impact job quality.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance requirements are met


Requirements


  • Proven ability to perform all job tasks of lower job classifications
  • Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat
  • Satisfactory driving record
  • Knowledge of truck and equipment safety
  • Knowledge of equipment maintenance
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities
  • High level of personal integrity
  • Strong work ethic
  • Mature demeanor under stressful situations
  • Able to work with little supervision
  • Able to work effectively in a diverse working environment
