Overview

Develop a solid understanding of Frac Location operations, including the safety zones. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, assisting with pump and rig maintenance, and learning basic procedures. Work closely with the Line Boss and support various operational tasks.



Key Responsibilities

·            Equipment Maintenance: Maintain pumps and fill greasers; ensure fuel tanks are full and properly monitored

·            Driving: Operate pickup trucks and trailers safely

·            Safety Zones: Understand and adhere to safety procedures in red, yellow, and chemical zones

·            Fuel Management: Monitor fuel levels, track consumption, and advise supervisors on top-ups

·            Rig Operations: Assist with rig-in/rig-out procedures and setup of sand storage units

·            Site Management: Guide sand trucks, check sand levels, and maintain cleanliness of equipment and fuel trailers

·            Pre-Job Tasks: Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, attend safety meetings, and manage driver logs

·            Compliance: Follow regulations for safe operation, hours of service, and handling of dangerous goods



Requirements

·            Licenses: Valid Class A CDL

·            Driving Record: Satisfactory driving record

·            Experience: Prior experience is an asset but not required

·            Safety Knowledge: Understanding of truck and equipment safety and maintenance

·            Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills

·            Work Ethic: High personal integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to stay calm under stress

·            Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively in a diverse environment

·            Forklift Operation

·            Required PPE (i.e., coveralls, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.)



Physical Requirements

·            Mobility: Prolonged standing and walking; ability to lift and move over 50 pounds

·            Flexibility: Ability to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed

·            Availability: Capable of working overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings



Work Environment

·            Rotation Schedule: Varies

·            Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather conditions, exposure to noise, contaminants, dust, etc.



Travel Requirements

·            Travel: Regular travel to off-site locations required
