FRAC Operator II

Overview
Operate and troubleshoot hydraulic horsepower equipment and ensure proper pump operation. Role involves verifying valving, communicating with the Line Boss, and maintaining equipment through preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities
· Pump Operation: Safely operate the FRAC pump as directed by the treater; ensure pumps are only rolled over after receiving clearance from the Line Boss
· Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with the Line Boss; challenge and confirm instructions before engaging equipment
· Safety: Ensure the safety of personnel and equipment by verifying high and low side valving and monitoring equipment health
· Troubleshooting: Address and resolve issues quickly to maintain job quality
· Maintenance: Adhere to preventative maintenance protocols
Requirements
· Licenses: Valid A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements
· Driving Record: Satisfactory driving record
· Experience: Proven ability to perform all tasks of lower job classification
· Safety Knowledge: Understanding of truck and equipment safety and maintenance
· Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills
· Work Ethic: High integrity, strong work ethic, and ability to handle stress
· Independence: Ability to work with minimal supervision and in diverse environments

· Availability: Capable of working overtime, including weekends, public holidays, and evenings
Work Environment
· Rotation Schedule: Varies
· Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather conditions, exposure to noise, contaminants, dust, etc.

· Travel: Regular travel to off-site locations required
