Position Title: Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Landscape Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of landscape maintenance for our commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team. This position involves planning, coordinating, and executing landscape maintenance tasks to ensure client satisfaction and the highest quality of service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leadership and Management:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of landscape maintenance technicians.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss project progress, address issues, and provide training.
- Evaluate team performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess landscape conditions and client needs.
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally.

- Project Management:
- Plan, schedule, and oversee landscape maintenance activities, including mowing, pruning, fertilization, pest control, irrigation, and seasonal planting.
- Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate with the sales team to develop and implement customized maintenance plans for each client.
- Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

- Quality Control:
- Monitor and inspect work sites to ensure quality standards are met.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies.

- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including schedules, work orders, and client communications.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, team performance, and financial metrics.
- Assist in the development of proposals and contracts for new and existing clients.

Qualifications:

- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture, landscape management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial landscape maintenance.
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role.

- Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, horticulture, and plant care.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using landscape management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Work Schedule:

- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed.
