Role Overview:
This is a full-time, hands-on position that involves daily responsibilities in support of the company's diverse landscape services for both public and private clients. The Procurement Specialist will be tasked with generating all Purchase Orders related to project costs and will oversee the procurement of bulk materials necessary for maintenance and snow management. Establishing effective communication and relationships with vendors to secure optimal pricing for materials and supplies is essential.
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary administrative contact for all landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation projects.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and Designers to ensure timely delivery of all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to project sites.
- Prepare and manage purchase orders for the landscaping, maintenance, and irrigation divisions.
- Conduct reconciliations on all purchase orders, invoices, quotes, and estimates.
- Collect and verify the accuracy of packing slips and receipts.
- Compile project documentation and client sub-packets.
- Input all invoices related to job expenses, approve them for payment, and forward to the accounting department.
- Engage with vendors to gather information regarding products or services, including pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to assess project needs, update records, review bids, and negotiate contracts within budgetary constraints.
- Maintain procurement records, including details of purchased items or services, costs, delivery, product quality, and inventory.
- Work alongside the Facilities Manager to manage and maintain DOT files for employees and fleet.
- Assist with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is necessary.
Skills:
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Google Sheets.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment drug screening.

- Strong organizational, multitasking, and business acumen skills.
This position does not entail supervisory responsibilities.
