Job Title: Referral Coordinator - Sleep Apnea Dental Office

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Referral Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical or dental office roles and a passion for helping patients sleep better. This role involves managing patient referrals, coordinating with healthcare providers, and ensuring a smooth process for patients seeking treatment with oral devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Referrals: Process and track patient referrals, ensuring timely communication between our office and referring healthcare providers.
- Patient Communication: Engage with patients to explain referral procedures, answer questions, and provide support throughout the treatment process.
- Coordinate Care: Collaborate with dental and medical professionals to gather necessary documentation, schedule consultations, and follow up on treatment progress.
- Insurance and Documentation: Verify insurance information with patients to ensure we can properly verify their benefits.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our team to streamline processes and improve patient experience related to oral device therapy.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Medical or Dental Office Roles: Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Sleep Apnea: Familiarity with sleep apnea and oral device therapy is a plus, but not required. We offer training for the right candidate.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with patients and healthcare providers.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Team Player: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
