Position Overview:

As a Community Engagement and Event Management Intern, you will collaborate closely with our marketing team to facilitate event communication and coordination. This role involves supporting various events throughout the year, including educational seminars, fundraising initiatives, and community gatherings. Your contributions will be vital in ensuring the successful organization and execution of these events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Coordination: Assist in the planning and execution of diverse events, including community outreach activities and fundraising efforts.
  • Logistical Support: Help manage event logistics, including volunteer coordination, vendor communication, and setup/breakdown of event spaces.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between staff, vendors, and community members to ensure seamless event operations.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining event-related files.
  • Promotional Activities: Aid in the creation and distribution of marketing materials, including flyers and social media content.
  • On-Site Support: Provide assistance during events, overseeing setup, managing volunteers, and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Community Representation: Act as a representative of the organization at community events, fostering relationships with local members and organizations.
  • Feedback Collection: Assist in gathering feedback from participants to evaluate the effectiveness of outreach and event efforts.

Qualifications:
