About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Outreach and Event Coordination Assistant. As a key member of our marketing team, you will play a crucial role in assisting with event planning, coordination, and execution. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in event management, marketing, and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating various events, including seminars, fundraisers, sponsored events, and community events.
  • Logistics and Administration: Help manage event logistics, including volunteer staffing, vendor coordination, and setup/breakdown of event spaces. Perform administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining event files.
  • Communication and Outreach: Communicate with staff, vendors, and community members to ensure all aspects of the event are executed smoothly. Assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies to connect with community members and organizations.
  • On-Site Support: Provide on-site support during events, including overseeing setup, managing volunteers, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Assist in collecting feedback, preparing event reports, and evaluating the success of events.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, proficiency in project management tools, and experience with digital event promotion tools.
  • Attitude: Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
