Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Community Outreach and Event Coordination Specialist. This role will assist in planning and coordinating events, managing logistics, and communicating with staff, vendors, and community members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Planning and Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating events, including seminars, fundraisers, sponsored events, and community events.
  • Logistics Management: Help manage event logistics, including volunteer staffing, vendor coordination, and setup/breakdown of event spaces.
  • Communication: Communicate with staff, vendors, and community members to ensure all aspects of the event are executed smoothly.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining event files.
  • Outreach Activities: Support the creation and distribution of promotional materials, including flyers, newsletters, and social media content.
  • On-Site Assistance: Provide on-site support during events, including overseeing setup, managing volunteers, and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Community Engagement: Act as the company representative at community events and assist in developing and implementing outreach strategies to connect with community members and organizations.
  • Post-Event Analysis: Assist in collecting feedback, preparing event reports, and evaluating the success of events.
Requirements
  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, Communications, or a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, ability to work with minimal supervision, proficiency in project management tools, and experience with digital event promotion tools.
  • Attitude: Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
