SUMMARY
Builds a revenue growing network of Broker’s, Retail Customers, and Re-Packers while working in a fast-paced cross functional environment.  This role is key to the growth of the Warhead and Melster brands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Grow existing Distribution and Retail customers through effective management of: Trade Spend, Customer shelf space, Seasonal and other promotions.
  • Gains additional Distribution and Retail customers either through their own efforts or through the broker network.
  • Works with and manages our Broker sales partners to ensure that we gain more effective sales representation.
  • Manages trade spend actively to reduce trade spend as a percentage of sales, either through growing sales efficiently, or reducing ineffective trade spend.
  • Stays abreast of retail trends and funnels customers and feedback to the marketing team as part of a cross functional team to ensure that our product portfolio stays relevant.
  • Manage customer pricing and customer level profit and loss statements
  • Monitor and manage a 12-month rolling sales forecast by customer at the sku level, with a goal of achieving a 90% ratio of actuals to forecast for the prior three months
  • Work with Customer Service Department to investigate and resolve customer complaints or issues.
  • Assist with the design and set-up of trade show booths and represent the company and its products at the shows. 
  • Attend industry events as agreed upon
  • All other duties as assigned

Travel may be required up to 50% of the time.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 
Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or six to eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS 
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.  Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS 
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel.  Ability to learn other application software essential to performing job tasks.
