Position Overview:
This role is a remote opportunity, allowing you to work from your home office in the Wisconsin area. The Technical Sales Manager will report directly to the Regional Sales Leader or the Director of Sales within their designated region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain relationships with key influential installation companies in targeted areas, ensuring business continuity.
  • Identify growth opportunities within the region by targeting installation companies and collaborating with internal teams.
  • Facilitate customer transitions to James Hardie by removing obstacles and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Leverage CRM tools to make informed decisions that promote year-over-year volume growth.
  • Support Territory Sales Representatives and the Business Development Manager in achieving additional volume growth.
  • Conduct market segmentation to assess customer needs and lead the sales process, utilizing available resources for solution development.
  • Build and nurture relationships, expanding networks and identifying potential leads.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on technical installation practices for our product range.
  • Manage a priority-based schedule for prospective customer engagements.
  • Exhibit flexibility in attending key events within the assigned territory.
  • Engage actively with the account base to foster high levels of networking.
  • Influence key stakeholders to advocate for James Hardie products.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of company offerings, installation practices, customer programs, and associated benefits.
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform strategic decision-making in the market.
  • Lead presentations and discussions in front of large audiences.
  • Demonstrate a passion for personal and company success, striving to meet or exceed established goals.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-touch sales environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, discipline, and self-management.
  • Ability to convey construction expertise and knowledge effectively at job sites.
  • Strong sales acumen and understanding of the sales process.
  • Proven ability to build relationships across all organizational levels.
  • Capacity to influence key stakeholders to support James Hardie initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel 10-15% as required.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred from an accredited institution.
