Job Description:  

A Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in the growth of a company by generating leads, qualifying prospects, and contributing to the overall sales pipeline. This individual will be a motivated self-starter with an energetic mentality who is persistent and loves getting to know new people. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, the ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, and video conference, and demonstrate success managing technical product sales.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Prospect into strategic business accounts via cold call, email, and social strategies 

  • Cultivate relationships with distributor network and special markets including group practices, DSOs, institutions, and

  • government accounts. 

  • Drive sales growth and pipeline through setting up qualified meetings for Account Managers 

  • Assist Account Executive’s with lead follow-up’s 

  • Be a subject matter expert of SOTA Cloud’s leading medical and dental solutions 

  • Produce creative strategies to lead initial outreach to prospects 

  • Develop strategic plan to achieve sales targets and grow customer base and distribution network. 

  • Partner with customers and distributors to understand their business needs. 

  • Participate in strategy setting, sales training, marketing efforts and customer care. 

  • Provide regular reporting of pipeline and forecast through the CRM system. 

  • Meet/exceed sales targets. 

 

Skills/Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field  

  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of products or services effectively. 

  • Proven experience in lead generation, prospecting, or sales development. 

  • Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools. 

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently. 

  • Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
