We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at HCL Technologies. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a sales funnel: Focus on HCL services and drive the pursuit of opportunities, whether through Requests for Proposal (RFP) or proactive proposals.
- Establish client relationships: Develop a deep understanding of client needs and establish yourself as a trusted advisor across all levels of client contacts in the assigned business units.
- Provide data-driven solutions: Offer proactive, consultative selling and convert insights from client conversations into tangible net new business.
- Partner with internal teams: Collaborate with peer business units and sales organizations to develop and drive the client Upsell/Cross-sell, Sales Retention & Expansion Plan for Statement of Work extension and expansion, including add-on services, modules, and dedicated support solutions.
- Identify business opportunities: Create a funnel of new business opportunities from the current account by showcasing HCL's end-to-end service capabilities.
- Maintain client relationships: Sustain relationships with customer contacts and ensure ongoing communication.
- Oversee commercial aspects: Monitor revenue, margins, and receivables for the current account.
- Identify service gaps: Proactively locate gaps in current delivery and build a business case for enhanced service offerings.
- Ensure delivery escalations: Track and ensure that delivery escalations are closed appropriately.
