The Sales Manager is expected to Manage a team of Sales Representatives To:

  1. Gain new customers by locating, prospecting, developing, and negotiating business relationships in the State of Maryland.
  2. Work with existing customers to grow and enhance customer relationships.
  3. Identify opportunities in IT support and Website design by employing a consultative sales approach to satisfy customer technology needs.
  4. Promote the sale of the full line of QBS IT Services and Website Design to both existing and new customers in the QBS territory.
  5. Conduct executive-level sales calls to generate interest in QBS services and conduct effective sales presentations at executive levels.
  6. Document sales calls, interactions, and follow-up processes with our CRM.

7. Sales Manager will get opportunities for Web Design and have experience in discussing the following: CMS systems (especially WordPress), HTML5, CSS, SEO practices, Designs website layouts according to current digital content standards and practices

8. Sales Manager will get opportunities for IT and have experience in discussing the following: PC and network issues, LAN and WAN network management; Windows Server 2012 and 2016; Active Directory and Group Policy management; VMware hypervisor and virtual machine creation and management; SonicWALL firewalls; Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 basic and advanced management; Apple OS, Office 365 management; basic telecom maintenance; Autotask experience is a plus.

9. The Sales Manager will get opportunities for Office Equipment have experience in implementing the following for their Sales Team: Making 50+ telephone calls daily, setting up product review appointments, analyzing and discovering customers office needs, calculating lease and purchase price options, having a consultant view when dealing with customers and not afraid to ask for their business.

Experience and Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years ‘experience Managing and selling Copiers, IT/Website/Equipment products & services.
  • Knowledge and familiarity with desktop, server and network technology
  • Must be adept at excellent interpersonal and two-way communication, with the ability to present in a group setting
  • Project a professional image and strong business acumen during customer interactions
  • Possess a sense of urgency, strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Possess patience, persistence and an entrepreneurial, self-starter mindset
