Seeking an experienced Business Development Representative

*Competitive base pay and commission structure, with an average total compensation of $150,000 annually*

As a Business Development Representative with our company, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing business opportunities across multiple locations in Middle Tennessee. This includes, but is not limited to, the following cities: Clarksville, Murfreesboro, Dickson, and Lebanon. Your role will involve travel within these areas to establish and maintain client relationships and secure new projects.

Position Details:

· The Business Development Representative is responsible for sales of electrical construction design and installation services. The focus is on industrial applications such as Power & Distribution, Equipment and Robotic Installation, Switch Gears, Lighting, Generators, Automation & Controls, Network Installations – Fiber Optics/Cat5/Cat6, Fire Alarm Systems, Security & Camera, Bus Distribution and Feeder Systems, Arc Flash Studies & Training, New Construction, and Renovation Projects, and UL Listed Panel Shop.

· The territory consists of Middle TN cities.

· The Business Development Representative will identify target accounts, including automotive, industrial OEMs and tiered suppliers, Food Industry, General Contractors, and System Integrators. The contacts to call on are Facilities Engineering, Plant Maintenance & Engineering, Electrical Engineers, Plant Managers, and Purchasing.

· The Business Development Representative will execute the strategies for creating and winning sales opportunities that meet sales objectives and activity goals.

· These activities include cold calling, setting meetings, conducting presentations, networking, entertaining customers/prospects, and reporting activities both verbally and written.

· Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining accurate and timely reporting methods in Salesforce (CRM), managing account financials, purchase orders, collection activities, and service authorizations.

· Must have sales experience with selling products or services to industrial, automotive, and manufacturing businesses. Preferably to engineering and maintenance contacts in Middle Tennessee.
