We seek a curious and innovative Weather Sales and Support Representative who wants to work to educate and support clients on the integration of weather products. This is perfect for someone who enjoys dabbling with code, finding creative solutions to novel challenges, and communicating meteorological information.


About the Role

As a Weather Sales and Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our sales team and customers during the sales process and deployment. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure that our weather intelligence solutions, including sensors, APIs, weather data, forecasting services are effectively communicated and deployed.


Job Responsibilities:

· Assist sales and customer-facing teams with technical product demonstrations, presentations, and solutioning.

· Troubleshoot technical issues during the sales process and deployment.

· Conduct product training sessions for sales teams and customers.

· Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and product management, to address technical issues and improve products.


Essential Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field (5 - 7 years military experience also qualifies).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Proficient with one or more programming languages (Python preferred).

· Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

· Ability to work independently and take initiative to solve problems.


Helpful Qualifications:

· Strong understanding of APIs and be able to troubleshoot issues related to API integrations.

· Knowledge of weather intelligence solutions and technologies, including weather data, numerical weather prediction, ML/AI techniques

· Experience in a technical sales or product support role, preferably in the weather or environmental industry

· Knowledge of structure and unstructured data, time series data, and analytics.

· Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work across teams.

· Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time.
