Seeking a full-time Regional Manager to oversee regional maintenance operations in Central Florida. This position requires extensive knowledge and experience in managing various highway maintenance tasks, including incident response, and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Regional Manager will be responsible for achieving assigned KPIs, managing budgets, and executing work plans.

Required Experience:

  • Roadway maintenance management or construction management experience.
  • Familiarity with DOT contract operations.
  • Technical experience in earthworks, landscaping, road construction, bridge maintenance, and stormwater drainage maintenance.

Preferred Experience:

  • PM certifications and training.
  • MOT/TTC certifications.
  • PE certificate with reciprocity.
  • Clean driving record is essential.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an ABET-accredited university, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in roadway maintenance, project management, team leadership, or direct client-facing responsibilities.
  • Experience in project estimating for bids and proposals.
  • Highly efficient organizational skills in a multi-faceted, long-term project environment.
  • Ability to review and understand financial statements.
  • Ability to understand, read, and analyze annual budgets and work plans.
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding manuals, plans, and specifications, and in writing documents following prescribed formats.
  • Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e., criminal record, driving record, and controlled substance/drug testing).
  • Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in advanced arithmetic functions.
  • Ability to maintain proper safety equipment required for each job.
  • Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology.
  • Proficiency in using smartphones and applications.
  • Flexibility to adjust to changing work schedules.
  • Ability to work safely under varying environmental and weather conditions.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor.
  • Proficiency in operating hand/power tools.
