Technical Support for Home Electronics Products (Miramar Area)

Inside Technical Support Rep consulting with customers to provide information and support for home systems products and system designs.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Continually learn about electronic, low voltage and electrical devices in the automation industry and how they work together in a system (training provided)
  • Provide support to customers requesting product advice, system design and technical support
  • Provide clear, friendly, helpful information on the phone, via email and live chat
  • Represent our company professionally to customers, guests, and vendors
  • Provide internal support for company systems
  • Various projects as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Technically minded and interested in technology (basic knowledge of home electronics and wiring a plus)
  • IT background
  • Understanding of electrical distribution and theory
  • Understand LAN/WAN and smartphone apps
  • Understanding of basic A/V devices and systems
  • The successful candidate must be genuinely nice, professional, hard working, detail oriented, organized, team oriented and eager to learn
  • Willing and able to provide exceptional customer service at all times
  • Completely computer literate and working with new programs
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Able to touch type 40+ wpm

  • Must love working with digital devices, consumer electronics, and electronic systems
  • IT background
  • Must be reliable, energetic & organized
  • Handy person with general household repairs a plus
  • Reliable, punctual, and a genuinely nice person

Mon-Fri 8:00am -- 5:00pm, Full Time, No Weekends
