Position Overview:
Tetra Tech is in search of a Senior Electrical Engineer to enhance our esteemed Electrical Team. This role presents a unique opportunity to take on a senior position within our Electrical group.
Key Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong history of delivering comprehensive and successful electrical designs across diverse scales and market sectors. You will be responsible for leading and mentoring within our collaborative team environment.
Your primary duties will include the design and planning of electrical power systems for a variety of projects, which may encompass:
- Industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Healthcare institutions
- Research laboratories
- High-rise office buildings
- Educational establishments
- Other commercial and institutional projects
In this capacity, you will serve as the Engineer of Record, overseeing the electrical engineering team to ensure optimal resource allocation to meet project deadlines and budgetary requirements.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will excel in the design and specification of power and control systems, system layouts, load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection. You will also perform calculations for lighting systems and associated controls for assigned projects.
Your role will involve reviewing MEP systems designed by others, collaborating with code officials and contractors, and engaging with architects and clients to guarantee high-quality outputs from the electrical design team through effective quality control.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in technical leadership and design
- A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Proficiency in REVIT is essential
- A current Professional Engineering (PE) license is mandatory
This position supports a hybrid-remote work model, and candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. to facilitate on-site project meetings as necessary.

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $150,000. This range represents the low and high end of the proposed salary for this role, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as location, experience, and specific responsibilities.
