Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is the primary liaison between all external stakeholders and the daily operations of Diamond Mowers. The SOS will manage all lead conversion, quoting and pipeline management while ensuring the highest level of communication with our Regional Sales Managers and dealer partners.

The Sales Operations Specialist will report to the Director of Sales Operations and support the primary sales operation’s goal of creating predictable revenue by streamlining the sales process for all stakeholders.

Key Roles

  • Proactively serve as liaison to our RSM’s, dealers and customers to drive improved transparency around activity at Factory.

  • All coordination required to maintain working knowledge of dealer inventories, retail performance and stocking recommendations on an ongoing basis

  • Manage opportunity pipelines within CRM to drive higher conversion rates with more predictable results, ensuring the highest level of actionable data integrity

  • Provide voice of customer driven feedback to management on trends, opportunities and issues taking place in the market

  • Provide exceptional customer service both internally and externally, in pursuit of our commitment to being the best partner to our stakeholders.

  • Provide technical product support to dealers and end users by leveraging existing training resources

Responsibilities:

  • Confidently navigate customer sales conversations

  • Collaborate with internal technical resources to develop thorough understanding of Diamond products and applications.

  • Generate, distribute and follow-up on product quotes.

  • Manage pipeline and lead management program.

  • Convert leads and opportunities to sales.

  • Facilitates dealer engagement.

  • Customer Relationship Management (Salesforce) management and maintenance.

All other duties are performed as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Three years of sales and/or account management experience required.

  • A working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.

  • Mechanical and/or technical acumen in industrial/heavy equipment preferred.

  • Experience working in dealer distribution model is preferred.

  • Salesforce knowledge would be a plus.
