Growing company in Carlsbad is seeking an Admin Assistant/ Bookkeeper to be the back up for the Accounting Manager This is a contract to hire opportunity working 100% onsite.
Compensation depends on experience: $24-26/hr
Schedule: Must be available to work Monday thru Friday ( 7/8/9am – 8 hours per day) schedule will be discussed/ agreed once hired.
You will be responsible for assisting the Accounting Manager and Owner with administrative tasks along with bookkeeping. The ideal person will take direction and instructions accurately, be reliable, go “above” what the duty calls for, have a go-getter attitude, and have good computer skills.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Light bookkeeping
- Using QuickBooks
- Enter PO’s, bills, invoices
- Reconciliations
- Sales Tax
- Consolidating credit cards with best interest rates
- Processing orders – printing labels, shipping via FedEx/ UPS/ USPS
- Other administrative duties
