Office Administration and Bookkeeping Specialist

A dynamic organization is in search of an Office Administration and Bookkeeping Specialist to provide essential support to the Accounting Manager. This position is a contract-to-hire role that requires full-time onsite presence.
The successful candidate will assist both the Accounting Manager and the Owner with various administrative and bookkeeping responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess: a strong ability to follow directions, reliability, a proactive mindset, and proficient computer skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform light bookkeeping tasks
- Utilize QuickBooks for financial management
- Input purchase orders, bills, and invoices
- Conduct reconciliations
- Manage sales tax obligations
- Consolidate credit card accounts to secure optimal interest rates
- Process orders, including printing labels and coordinating shipping via FedEx, UPS, or USPS
- Handle additional administrative tasks as required
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience, ranging from $24 to $26 per hour.
Work Schedule:
Candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour workday to be discussed and agreed upon upon hiring.
