We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Rep/ Community Outreach Specialist/ Sales Rep to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and engaging community members on various topics, promoting our programs, and building strong relationships. You must be eager to learn, passionate about community service, and committed to making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage community members
  • Conduct educational sessions, workshops, and presentations on relevant topics
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, leaders, and stakeholders
  • Distribute informational materials and resources to community members
  • Gather feedback from the community to improve outreach efforts
  • Assist in organizing and participating in community events and activities
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and participant information

Key Responsibilities (Additional once full time):

  • Identify and generate new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and cold calling
  • Assess clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage
  • Prepare and present insurance quotes and proposals to potential clients
  • Close sales and complete the necessary paperwork to finalize insurance policies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention
  • Stay informed about industry trends, products, and competitors
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics

 

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Insurance Licensing Required
  • Previous experience in community outreach, education, or related field is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Willingness to acquire additional certifications or licenses as needed
