Role Overview:
As a Branch Sales Associate, your primary responsibility will be to offer solutions and connect effortlessly with walk-in clients through your expertise, guidance, and positive demeanor.
Your Responsibilities:
Oversee the complete customer journey.
This encompasses selecting the right products, ensuring accurate order entry, safely picking items, and loading customer vehicles. Identify opportunities to boost sales and foster customer loyalty. Adjust your communication style to suit different audiences, whether in person, via email, or over the phone. Prepare and stage will-call orders and shipping products. Process customer backorders and organize incoming stock. Assist with merchandising and restocking the showroom. Conduct inventory counts. Navigate various computer systems for customer service and warehouse tasks. Maintain cleanliness to ensure the branch meets Grainger standards.
Adhere to safety protocols and comply with all operational standards, including the use of personal protective equipment.Qualifications:
Willingness to work flexible hours within branch operating times. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance. Capability to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.
