The ideal location is Atlanta or Savannah, but remote options are available. This role is primarily remote, with occasional travel required to various offices.

Position Overview:
The Lead Financial Analyst, FP&A is tasked with the preparation and interpretation of financial data for senior management, including department heads, executive leadership, and the Board of Directors.

This role also involves creating analyses that keep internal and external stakeholders informed about progress towards company objectives and targets.

The Lead Financial Analyst will play a crucial role in budget and forecast preparation, analyzing actual results, and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide insights and support.

This position offers an exceptional opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of the telecom and fiber infrastructure sector while interacting with leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the quarterly forecasting process:
    Ensure alignment of forecasts with overall strategic objectives and business conditions. Validate data inputs and calculations to maintain forecast integrity. Develop and present quarterly reports and materials for executive review.
  • Engage in financial review meetings:
    Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure comprehensive communication regarding key drivers and outputs of the forecasting cycle. Validate variances against forecast assumptions and produce updates and metrics for executive review.
  • Develop long-range strategic planning models:
    Utilize extensive Excel modeling experience to manage plan compilation, review, and validation, while documenting assumptions and participating in executive reviews.
  • Support business decision-making:
    Construct business case models and analyze business plans for expansions and new market initiatives. Assist the sales team in evaluating deals for optimal profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar role.
  • CPA and/or MBA preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in the telecom industry is a plus.
  • Strong adaptability and flexibility to manage change.
  • Advanced skills in cost analysis across various time frames.
  • Proficient in constructing financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and complex formulas.
  • PowerBI experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust across the organization.
  • Critical thinking skills with a creative approach to problem-solving.
