Job Title: Sales Support Specialist ( This is an on-site role not remote)

Position Overview:

The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role within our B2B company by providing essential support to the sales team. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless execution of sales operations, assisting with customer interactions, and maintaining accurate records. The Sales Support Specialist is a key contributor to achieving sales targets and enhancing overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Customer Interaction:

   - Assist customers with inquiries, order processing, and product information.

   - Address customer concerns, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

   - Serve as a primary point of contact for customer communications and follow-up.

 

2. Sales Team Support:

   - Collaborate with the sales team to prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and sales presentations.

   - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.

   - Assist in identifying potential leads and opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

3. Order Processing:

   - Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.

   - Coordinate with various departments (e.g., logistics, finance) to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.

   - Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.

 

4. Data Management:

   - Maintain and update customer and prospect databases with accurate information.

   - Track sales activities, including leads, opportunities, and customer interactions.

   - Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

 

5. Administrative Support:

   - Assist in scheduling sales meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for the sales team.

   - Manage and organize sales-related documents, contracts, and agreements.

   - Handle administrative tasks such as expense reports, budget tracking, and correspondence.

 

6. Product Knowledge:

   - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.

   - Continuously update knowledge of the company's products and services.

 

7. Communication:

   - Maintain effective communication channels between the sales team, other departments, and customers.

   - Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.

- Previous experience in a sales support or customer service role is an advantage.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

- Proficiency in using CRM software and MS Office Suite.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- A customer-focused attitude and a dedication to providing exceptional service.
