Our client is a leading engineering firm dedicated to providing innovative solutions for critical water infrastructure projects. They are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer with a minimum of 15 years' experience to lead water and wastewater treatment plant design projects in Houston, Texas

 

The Water/Wastewater Engineer must be Professionally Licensed and have a strong understanding of water treatment processes and a proven track record in project management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sustainable water solutions and be able to mentor junior engineers while maintaining strong client and regulatory relationships.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Lead and manage water and wastewater treatment plant design projects.

·        Provide technical expertise for all phases of a project, from feasibility studies to construction administration.

·        Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies.

·        Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry standards.

·        Mentor and guide junior engineers.

 

Education and Experience:

·        Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering field from an ABET-accredited school.

·        Experience: Minimum of 15 years of job-related experience.

·        Licensure/Certification: PE Licensure required

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·        15+ years of experience in water and wastewater engineering design.

·        Proven experience in all phases of project development.

·        Strong understanding of water treatment processes and equipment.

·        Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

·        Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
