Job DescriptionJob DescriptionJANUS et Cie is currently hiring a Sales Support Specialist to work out of our Santa Fe Springs, CA Production Facility. This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday. The Sales Support Specialist will develop and refine pre-sales product solutions, in conjunction with our sales team(s). Create sales quotation documentation necessary to enter “clean” orders, based on input from JANUS et Cie sales professionals and our clients.

Hourly Pay Range: $20-$24 an hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Under the direction of the sector-based sales leader(s):
    1. Provide sales order based administrative support to assigned sales representatives.
    2. Manage diverse pre-sale efforts such as entering or editing sales quotes, handling product inquiries, price checks, stock status, lead times, freight quotes, and coordinating sales collateral (samples, tear sheets, images, forms, etc.)
    3. Manage memo (sales sample) orders through the entire process. This includes pre-sales to and through return of product.
    4. Manage reserves and reserve orders through conversion.
    5. Handle live chats from corporate website.
    6. Handle sales support tickets.
    7. Accurately and efficiently resolve client inquiries, gather information, document interactions, and coordinate responses.
    8. “Scrub” client purchase orders to ensure that they are aligned with issued quotations; liaise with purchasing agents, dealer designers and project managers, as needed to rectify discrepancies prior to finalizing the sale.
    9. Help coordinate large, complicated pre-sale projects, manage deadlines, and handle communication.
    10. Contribute to the client experience through accuracy, timeliness, integrity, and empathy.
    11. Ability to understand both the directive and “spirit” of a given assignment.
    12. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. None

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Accuracy and attention to detail is an absolute must.
  2. Ability to manage high volume of inbound queries via phone, email, tickets, and live chat.
  3. Prior experience with at least one of the following:
    1. Any live chat software (Zendesk preferred)
    2. Any ticketing software (Zendesk preferred)
      1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      2. Ability to type at 65 words per minute.
      3. Excellent troubleshooting and/or researching skills; ability to solve practical problems.
      4. Strong computer proficiency and navigational skills. Ability to transition smoothly between systems while speaking with clients.
      5. Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and direct workflow.
      6. Ability to multi-task
      7. High level of professionalism (verbal & written)
      8. “Customer first” attitude
      9. Previous experience in working in a customer facing position.
