Epic Personnel Partners is seeking an experienced and dynamic Cooler Receiving Supervisor in Ruther Glen, VA

Cooler Receiving Supervisor: To provide supervisory support for all of the clerical and data entry functions of the warehouse.

Salary: $47,500 - $52K / YR

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee clerical associates in the receiving, and customer service departments of the warehouse.
  • Assign tasks to workers, schedule break periods, work hours, and vacations for clerical and customer service employees, following HR policies.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of clerical and customer service employees to assess performance and provide feedback.
  • Train warehouse floor supervisors and associates on warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties to ensure adherence and efficiency.
  • Supervise the accurate recording of deliveries, shipments, and other relevant data into the system for proper inventory management.
  • Oversee the investigation of all reports of discrepancies and data entry errors to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Listen to customer complaints, examine discrepancy reports, and proactively resolve problems to maintain positive client relationships and uphold service standards.
  • Take overall responsibility for promoting and maintaining good sanitation practices throughout the warehouse offices to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures, safety regulations, and company policies to maintain operational efficiency and mitigate risks.
  • Work closely with warehouse management to implement improvements in processes, systems, and employee training to enhance overall departmental performance.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in communicating with team members and management to implement and supervise warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and independently manage and oversee warehouse data entry programs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • High proficiency in utilizing computer systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage and optimize warehouse data entry processes.
  • Possesses some college-level training, although extensive experience (3 to 5 years) in office or data entry supervision is preferred. Experience in the wholesale or retail grocery industry is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the wholesale or retail grocery industry, including an understanding of inventory management, data entry practices, and operational procedures, to effectively supervise and enhance warehouse processes.
