Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Warehouse Inventory Operations Supervisor to join our dedicated RNDC team. This role is pivotal in managing inventory operations within our warehouse, supervising staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs). The supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee that operational objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the physical presence of inventory aligns with recorded quantities across various conditions and locations. Coordinate the timely receipt, organization, and storage of products within the warehouse.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to facilitate accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of products. Oversee the inventory return process in the designated warehouse.
  • Guarantee safe handling and proper documentation of any breakage. Investigate and apply corrective measures for discrepancies such as shortages, shipping errors, and incorrect invoices. Manage safety processes within the warehouse.
  • Establish a robust inventory control framework within distribution operations to deter theft and procedural violations. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions, including reviewing variance and no-stock reports.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and product audits to ensure accuracy in product locations. Assist in the preparation and distribution of operational reports and facilitate statewide physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to resolve invoice discrepancies and promote a culture of exceptional customer service across all warehouse operations.
  • Support overall warehouse operations while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Act as a resource for employees, serving as a liaison between staff and upper management. Responsible for overseeing three warehouse leads, including hiring, corrective actions, and employee relations.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field is required, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or warehouse supervision. Experience managing both union and non-union employees is essential. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret business documents, and effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Federal and Cal OSHA regulations are also required.
