Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Warehouse Inventory Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic RNDC team. This role is pivotal in managing inventory operations within our warehouse, supervising staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and guaranteeing compliance with company standard operating procedures (SOPs). The Inventory Operations Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational goals are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify the physical presence of inventory and ensure accurate reporting of quantities across various conditions and locations. Facilitate timely receiving, organization, and storage of products within the warehouse.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure proper receiving, storage, and shipping of products. Oversee the inventory return process within the designated warehouse.
  • Ensure safe handling and accurate documentation of any breakage. Investigate and apply corrective measures for discrepancies such as shortages, shipping errors, and incorrect invoices. Manage safety processes within the warehouse.
  • Establish a robust inventory control system to deter theft and procedural violations. Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions. This includes daily review of variance and no-stock reports to identify issues such as receiving and shipping errors.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and product audits to maintain accurate product location records. Assist in the preparation and execution of statewide physical inventory counts. Collaborate with management to ensure unsellable products are invoiced and disposed of appropriately.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to resolve invoice discrepancies. Promote a culture of exceptional customer service throughout all warehouse operations.
  • Support overall warehouse operations, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Act as a resource for employees, facilitating communication between staff and upper management. This role includes oversight of three warehouse leads and involves hiring, disciplinary actions, and employee relations management.
Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field from an accredited institution, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in operations or warehouse supervision. Experience managing both union and non-union employees is essential. Candidates must possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret business documents, technical procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with the ability to present information effectively to various audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and a thorough understanding of warehouse cost structures are also necessary.
