We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor. This pivotal role ensures that regional healthcare facilities are adequately supplied. Whether handling personal protective equipment or surgical supplies, the products you manage are essential for healthcare professionals in their mission to provide care.


Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, starting at 3:30 PM

Compensation:
$23 per hour plus an 8% shift differential

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify materials loaded or unloaded against work orders or bills of lading.
  • Guide Material Handlers or Distribution Coordinators in relocating materials or products to storage.
  • Train new teammates and provide retraining for existing staff on job functions.
  • Analyze production schedules and estimate teammate-hour requirements for job completion.
  • Interpret specifications and job orders for teammates, assigning tasks accordingly.
  • Establish or modify work procedures to align with production schedules.
  • Recommend improvements to production methods, product quality, and working conditions to enhance warehouse efficiency.
  • Analyze and resolve work-related issues or assist teammates in problem-solving.
  • Initiate or propose plans to motivate teammates towards achieving work objectives.
  • Communicate with supervisors and management regarding personnel matters and daily operations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings in collaboration with supervisors.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to supervisors and managers on teammate performance, contributing to annual reviews.

Qualifications:
  • General knowledge of fundamental topics such as mathematics, reading, basic accounting, and typing, equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Successful completion of all company warehouse training modules, resulting in certification.
  • Certification on all warehouse machinery.
  • A minimum of one year of experience with Owens & Minor; external candidates should have prior warehouse lead or supervisory experience.
