Job Summary

Aramark is seeking a highly skilled Patient Services Supervisor to oversee the delivery of exceptional patient care and nutrition services in our healthcare facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of Patient Services Workers, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of patient diet orders, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Train Patient Services Workers: Provide guidance and support to Patient Services Workers to ensure they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care and nutrition services.
  • Coordinate Patient Diet Orders: Work closely with healthcare teams to ensure patient diet orders are received, interpreted, and followed through in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the Food and Nutrition Services Department, Nursing Services, and other healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Maintain Sanitation and Safety Standards: Ensure that all sanitation and safety standards are maintained in the food service areas, including the preparation, storage, and serving of patient meals.
  • Inventory and Re-Stocking: Conduct regular inventory and re-stocking of food and supplies to ensure that patient needs are met.
  • Temperature Logs and Quality Control: Maintain accurate temperature logs for refrigerators and freezers and conduct regular quality control checks to ensure patient safety.
  • Therapeutic Diets and Nutrition Care: Understand and implement therapeutic diets and nutrition care protocols to ensure patients receive the best possible care.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare teams, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Patient Services Supervisor: Proven experience in a patient services or food service management role, with a focus on patient care and nutrition services.
  • Leadership and Interpersonal Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of Patient Services Workers.
  • Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail and Quality Focus: A strong attention to detail and quality focus, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety.
