Overall Function: Kenzie’s Be Café is seeking an energetic, organized, and motivated individual to assist with our fundraising events and café management. This person would work alongside, and with the support of, our Manager, Program Coordinator, and Executive Director to plan and organize our two largest fundraisers of the year, as well as help run the cafe. The events coordinator will be responsible for developing an event calendar and implementing programs that align with the organization’s vision, mission and goals, overseeing café operations and marketing efforts.  This job will require working with and training our BEristas, and taking responsibility of the café when the Manager is absent. Some weekend hours will be required.

Essential Overall Duties

·         Developing an event calendar and implementing programs that align with the organization’s vision, mission and goals.

·         Establishing and maintaining relationships with sponsors and donors.

·         Oversee the execution of fundraising events, including our Putt Putt Golf Outing, and Java Jam Charity Concert.

·         Recruit, coordinate, and collaborate with the Event Committee(s).

·         Conduct everyday business of the café, counsel team members, and facilitate team member training.

·         Partner with the store manager in creating a positive customer experience, product ordering, and general café operations and management.
