Bookkeeper & Administrative Assistant

A nonprofit is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial records for our international nonprofit, as well as performing secretarial work.
Hours: 10 hrs/week which allows you to work full-time and have this be part-time.
*This position can be completed on a work-from-home basis however only accept local candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Bank reconciliation
- Written reports to the Board of Directors
- Payment of bills (online or with checks)
- International wire transfers
- Recording of donations
- Providing information to accountants for audit purposes
- Pick up mail from Palm Beach post office box
- Work closely with the Co-chairs & Treasurer remotely
- Perform secretarial duties, such as mailing fundraising material and event invitations, tracking responses, etc.
- Type and mail acknowledgment letters to donors monthly (template to be provided)
- Take minutes at Board of Director's meetings via Zoom and distribute to Board
Qualifications:
- At least two years of bookkeeping work experience
- Experience working with an accountant on an audit
- Proficient in Quickbooks, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word
- Strong writing skills for minutes, emails, and other compositions
- Deadline and detail-oriented
