Emphasizing our historic and continuing commitment to Asian and Pacific Islander communities, the East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) works with and for all the diverse populations of the East Bay to build healthy, vibrant and safe neighborhoods through community development.
EBALDC is a first-generation social enterprise founded in 1975 that has consistently generated >75% of our revenue from earned income. Our businesses and programs generate revenue to support sustained social impact. We oversee a diverse range of businesses and programs, including real estate development, property management, social services, and professional services, some of which are corporate operations and others are operated as subsidiaries and through partnerships with public and private partners.

East Bay Asian Local Development Corporation (EBALDC) is seeking for (1) Fundraising Intern - Volunteer in the Resource Communication & Development department.
As a Fundraising Intern, your role will be integral in advancing our mission to provide housing opportunities that improve lives. You will assist in the logistics of our Gala event, a crucial fundraising initiative to support our housing projects. Your tasks will include:
- Engaging with attendees and keeping them informed about the event details and the impact of their contributions towards our mission.
- Assisting in tracking sponsorships and ticket sales, ensuring that all funds raised are accurately accounted for and allocated towards housing initiatives.
- Supporting various aspects of the Gala to enhance donor engagement, helping to foster long-term relationships with supporters who are vital to our mission.
Your contributions will directly support our efforts to create meaningful change in the community by improving access to housing.
