Job Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Review invoices for accuracy, proper authorization, and coding prior to payment.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to vendor invoices and payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding balances or discrepancies.
- Prepare and process electronic payments, including ACH transfers and checks.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions and vendor communications.
- Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related issues.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to streamline AP processes and enhance efficiency.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with electronic payment processing systems is a plus.
