Overview:
The Community Liaison supports the Affordable Housing Manager in planning, organizing, processing eligibility requirements, and coordinating applications. This role will also handle other administrative duties including processing recertification’s.
What you’ll do
Administrative
- Assists the Executive Director in developing, organizing, implementing and performing administrative procedures and assigned projects.
- Coordinates and/or distributes internal mail, U.S. mail, and Brio Living Services correspondence.
- Coordinate communication regarding any maintenance / repairs with contractors, residents, and Executive Director.
Community
- Assists residents with office inquiries.
- Posts community events, workshops, and meetings of local organization and agencies.
- Ensures adequate office supplies, including resident needs, and marketing materials are at hand and available to meet day-to-day needs.
- Assist residents and family members with questions and keep Executive Director informed.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current residents; other employees and supervisors; suppliers, vendors and other professionals servicing the Community or residents.
What it takes
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 - 3 years’ work experience in a related field.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience and understanding of HUD, LIHTC, COS and affordable housing industry required.
- Office and/or administrative assistant experience, required
- Ability to use computers, including Microsoft Suite, required.
- Customer service experience, required
- Ability to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 20 pounds
