Role Overview:
As a Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) specializing in Neurotoxin Therapeutics, you will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals within your designated region.

Expert Relationship Development:
Your primary responsibility will be to identify and cultivate relationships with external experts in relevant therapeutic areas. This involves gaining access to these professionals and establishing strong, professional connections.

Educational Outreach:
You will provide comprehensive education regarding disease states and AbbVie’s product offerings throughout their lifecycle to healthcare providers and researchers.

Medical Resource Support:
Acting as a medical and scientific resource, you will address unsolicited medical inquiries and resolve clinically related medical information issues for healthcare providers.

Clinical Research Collaboration:
Support research initiatives as requested by the Research and Development (R&D) team. This includes site evaluation, participant recruitment, organizing investigator meetings, identifying external experts, and managing study-related activities.

Strategic Project Management:
Collaborate with internal Medical Affairs teams to create and implement a territory plan that aligns with shared business objectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining an internal database related to your activities.

Market Preparation:
Prepare the marketplace in emerging therapeutic areas by fostering awareness and building relationships for AbbVie within the medical community.

Support for Commercial Teams:
Serve as a scientific resource for commercial partners, as appropriate, to enhance their activities.

Professional Development:
Develop and communicate a personal growth plan, continuously educating yourself on global market trends, issues, and product knowledge relevant to your responsibilities in key therapeutic areas. Take ownership of your professional development.

Significant Work Activities:
This role may involve driving a personal or company vehicle as part of your responsibilities.
