Job DescriptionJob DescriptionIn your capacity as Regional Activation Manager (RAM), you will serve as the primary liaison between Soho and our spirits client’s presence in the assigned region. You will have direct oversight and management of Market Managers in select markets and staffing agency partners in additional markets to execute sampling and experiential marketing programs.

You will:
  • Recruit, train and manage Market Managers in select markets as direct reports and oversee third party agencies in other markets to ensure best-in-class execution of sampling, local market and experiential events.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the client’s Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in your region.
  • Lead transition from agency to direct staffing model where required
  • Liaise with client’s state manager and other local stakeholders for status of all programming and events in designated area.
  • Complete ownership of regional programs & activations, including pre-planning, call management, execution, and recapping.
  • Intake, build budgets and manage/delegate programs for any locally generated adhoc, brand, trade or special events in your region alongside your respective FMM and Territory FMM (TFMM).
  • Management of sampling allocations across the assigned region.
  • Manage, forecast and assist in POS sourcing, inventory management and warehousing needs for your region by collaborating with the client’s national POS manager and working with third-party supplier(s) based on the local activation calendar and national sampling needs.
  • In conjunction with Territory FMM, manage local activation calendar in the region with support & input from FMM/Sales.
  • Oversee Brand Ambassador market visits to region including the timely delivery of meeting recaps.
  • Travel to key activations and local agencies as required.
  • In markets without a direct MM, assume oversight of those responsibilities through agencies, attend key activations in market.

What Cool Things You Bring to the Table:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5+ years combined relative industry experience – Field Marketing, Mass Sampling Program, and Experiential Marketing agency roles
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports to service day-to-day business is required
  • Experience managing 3rd party staffing agencies
  • Prior spirits experience with a strong understanding of legal compliance is mandatory
  • Self-starter, strategic thinker, and proactive problem solver
  • Exceptional communication/organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Have strong written, verbal, and public speaking skills
  • Strong budget and expense management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 60% within your assigned territory
  • Based in NC or PA near a major airport, ideally
