- Establish a Baseline and Set Priorities: Conduct a thorough assessment of our current sustainability performance across the region, including operations, supply chain, and product lifecycle. Identify key areas for improvement and establish a baseline to measure progress. Prioritize initiatives based on their potential impact, feasibility, and alignment with our global sustainability objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, and local communities, to understand their sustainability concerns and expectations. Develop and implement effective communication strategies to raise awareness, promote sustainable practices, and foster a culture of sustainability within our organization and the broader community.
- Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing: Foster collaboration with global sustainability teams and other regional teams to share best practices, leverage synergies, and ensure consistency in the implementation of sustainability initiatives across our organization.
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive innovation in sustainable practices, products, and services.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical Mindset: Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and interpret data to drive informed decision-making.
- Sustainability Expertise: Passion for sustainability and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and society.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, such as environmental science, sustainability, or business management. 5 to 10+ years of sustainability-related experience in developing and implementing sustainable practices for technology or engineering companies. Preference is a background in a B2B sector.
