Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Regional Operations Manager to join our team at KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools. The successful candidate will provide critical support for our eight Philadelphia schools, leading work on attendance, enrollment, and regional operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Student Attendance & Enrollment
    • Develop and implement resources, tools, and timely data reports to support the implementation of the region-wide attendance plan.
    • Research and implement best practices in addressing chronic absenteeism.
    • Create and execute a region-wide attendance campaign, partnering with our External Impact Team to manage a social media campaign.
    • Publish weekly parent blasts about the importance of attendance.
    • Develop and support weekly attendance meetings of school-based leadership to achieve attendance goals.
    • Create an enrollment plan to ensure that all schools hit their enrollment targets for the school year.
    • Develop tools and resources to implement the enrollment plan.
    • Maintain an enrollment dashboard to track waitlist, applications, acceptances, and registration progress.
  • Vendor and Curriculum Management
    • Manage and execute regional curriculum order process, including vendor management, school inventory process, and coordination with the Academics Team.
    • Source and manage vendors for in-demand products (e.g., paper, school supplies, paper products, etc.).
  • School Operations Support and Development
    • Publish weekly Operations Blast to be sent to all school-based operations teams and principals.
    • Develop and publish dashboards to track key metrics across school-based operations work.
    • Create and publish videos and resources for operations skill and professional development.
  • Other Duties
    • Manage the Regional Office staff technology, including tech onboarding and ongoing support, by partnering with our technology service provider.
    • Support the Regional Compliance Manager on large data submissions.
    • Additional relevant duties and special projects as assigned by the Managing Director of Regional Operations.
