Job Description:

As a Treasury Operations Manager, you will oversee and manage all aspects of treasury operations within our organization. You will play a critical role in optimizing cash management, liquidity, and financial risk management strategies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily cash transactions, monitoring banking relationships, managing debt and investment portfolios, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate with finance teams, banking partners, and internal stakeholders to support financial decision-making and operational efficiency.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Cash Management and Forecasting:

    • Manage daily cash positions, liquidity needs, and cash flow forecasting to optimize working capital efficiency.
    • Monitor and analyze cash balances across multiple accounts and entities to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
    • Implement cash pooling structures and other treasury strategies to optimize cash flow management.

  2. Banking and Relationship Management:

    • Manage relationships with banking partners, negotiate banking services, and oversee bank account administration.
    • Monitor bank fees, interest rates, and transaction costs to minimize expenses and enhance financial efficiency.
    • Coordinate banking services including wire transfers, payments, and reconciliations.

  3. Debt and Investment Management:

    • Manage debt facilities, including credit lines, term loans, and revolving credit agreements.
    • Monitor debt covenants and compliance requirements, and prepare debt servicing schedules.
    • Oversee investment portfolios, evaluate investment opportunities, and ensure adherence to investment policies and guidelines.

  4. Financial Risk Management:

    • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks including interest rate risk, foreign exchange risk, and credit risk.
    • Develop and implement hedging strategies to mitigate risks associated with currency fluctuations and interest rate exposures.
    • Monitor compliance with risk management policies and regulatory requirements.

  5. Reporting and Compliance:

    • Prepare and analyze treasury reports, financial forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior management and stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls related to treasury operations.
    • Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and explanations related to treasury activities.

Skills Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's degree and/or CTP certification preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Treasury Manager, Treasury Analyst, or similar role with extensive knowledge of treasury operations.
  • Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity management, and financial risk management principles.
  • Experience in debt management, investment management, and banking relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, financial modeling, and treasury management systems (TMS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
