As a key member of the company's management team, the Regional Director (Southeast / Mid-Atlantic) is responsible for leading a team of 4+ professional field personnel to ensure ongoing success of existing franchise locations and successful launch of new locations in designated region. This position works in collaboration with the Business Development team to achieve business unit objectives.

THE WORK YOU’LL DO

  • Achieve new store growth and same-store sales objectives.
  • Ensure franchise adherence to contractual brand standards.
  • Ensure success of current franchises by supporting store profit objectives.
  • Assist in development and execution of marketplace initiatives and promotions while supporting brand development to assure maximum store performance.
  • Provide strong leadership by setting clear team performance objectives and identify, recruit, train and mentor team members as needed.
  • Use business metrics to formulate and execute a strategic plan which aligns with company growth objectives.
  • Strong understanding of food and labor cost control in a QSR environment.
  • Working with internal Distribution Management team, develop and foster positive professional relationships with distributor partners.
  • Management style and work demeanor aligns with the Company's Core Values

THE QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL BRING:

  • Four-year degree in secondary education, or degree/certificate in a culinary program, or successful completion of management training in large format QSR environment with relevant experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food service industry with at least five years of experience in food service distribution and/or food service operations management required.
  • General knowledge of food safety standards including basic HACCP practice and cold-chain integrity, transporting of perishable foods.
  • Proven track record of successful team building, leadership and management.
  • Flexibility to travel daily within assigned region and up to 75% overnight travel.
  • Proficient with technical business applications i.e., MS Office programs and CRM platforms, and have strong aptitude for using business analytics to achieve optimum business objectives.
  • Ability to work in fast paced cross-discipline environment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Willingness to travel by air / car / train / bus 75% of the time of which may be overnight.
  • Must be able to lift 30 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours
  • Must be able to sit for 8 hours
