Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to identify and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Utilize consultative selling skills to understand customer business requirements and recommend McLeod Software solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless sales process and customer satisfaction
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue quotas and sales targets
  • Travel up to 50% of the time to meet with customers and prospects
Requirements
  • 5+ years of outside sales experience with a proven track record of sales success
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to plan, organize, and set attainable goals
  • Collaborative and interpersonal skills within a sales environment, creating and maintaining professional relationships
  • Ability to negotiate and close business with prospective customers
  • Experience working and following defined sales processes (technical or complex software sales experience is preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% depending on the needs of the business
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and/or a minimum of 5 years of outside business development experience, selling and presenting to C-Suite prospects/customers
  • Experience with virtual meeting technology (Teams, Zoom, WebEx, etc.)
  • Excellent software skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM entry
