Business Development at Constructable

As a Business Development Executive at Constructable, you are responsible for developing, managing, and winning over prospective clients through the entire sales process. From the origination of opportunities to contract signature. You will work closely with Marketing, Estimating, Engineering, Project Management, Legal, and Finance to acquire new clients and grow existing accounts.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, generate, and pursue new business opportunities through strategic prospecting and cold calling
  • Drive the sales cycle from prospecting to closure
  • Help prospective businesses evaluate Constructable and handle detailed questions about Constructable’s EPC capabilities
  • Build strategic partnerships that result in high-value project opportunities
  • Manage and cultivate customer relationships ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term partnerships that result in repeat business
  • Actively work to meet or exceed the company’s strategic growth targets
  • Maintain a high level of sales activities necessary for exceeding company goals
  • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities and track the status of sales activities, proposals, and active bids in the company CRM
  • Collaborate with Leadership and Estimating to prepare proposals for delivery and/or presentations to customers
  • Provide comprehensive and strategic handoff of Customer Contracts to the Project Team
  • Analyze and interpret Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Qualifications (RFQs), and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to ensure business goals are achieved
  • Attend tradeshows, conference, and networking events on behalf of the company

Requirements

  • A minimum of one (1) year of quota-carrying Industrial Construction experience with a track record of success in meeting or exceeding quota - preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand the intricacies of our construction services and relevant project delivery methods
  • Exceptional cold-calling skills with a demonstrated ability to generate new business
  • Hunter mindset coupled with the ability to Farm existing accounts
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce
  • Process-oriented
  • High attention to detail
  • Efficiency and organizational skills
