Dana-co, a leading design company of luxury lingerie, has a new opportunity for an experienced Account Executive to join our Speicalty Store sales team. The Account Executive is responsible for the growth of current accounts and the development of new account relationships, driving business for specialty stores.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of retail partnership and product assortment plan to maximize retail performance
  • Track all PO’s from beginning to end. Ensuring all units are in stock and communicate replacement style/colors if needed.
  • Analyze weekly style selling to communicate retail trends, sales performance, and competitive market position.
  • Provide weekly status updates to Sales Manager, discuss needs, challenges, and where we are to goal expectations.
  • Maintain and foster close professional relationships with all retailer partners to generate new sales, inclusive of creative event ideas, eblasts to create the most Brand visibility.
  • Explore and create new business development opportunities, utilizing creative measures to introduce the brand to surface and grow new accounts.
  • Strategically plot how sales goals will be exceeded.
  • Profitably grow Dana-co brand wholesale shipments above budget while keeping expenses below budget.
  • Present product to buyers, collaborate on assortments and obtain orders, virtually, in person and at trade shows
  • Attend semi-annual trade shows in NY and LA.
  • Execute cost-effective events that result in incremental sales.


Qualifications:

  • Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently, efficiently (tech savvy) and enjoy a fast-paced work environment
  • 3 to 5 years sales experience, preferably in Intimate Apparel or 3-5 years of experience as a retailer, preferably with Intimate Apparel experience
  • Wholesale B2B Sales Experience and Inventory Analysis
  • Tradeshow knowledge
  • Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, Word
  • Flexibility. Ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong Presentation Skills
  • Experience working within a team
  • Strong follow-up skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be able to travel
