The hospital is the only Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center, and Labor and Delivery Unit in the area. In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles, and was the first Accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County. The hospital is a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star ratings over the past three years, and Straight "A" Hospital Safety Grades from The Leapfrog Group since 2018. Know Your Rights: Responsibilities The Stroke and Chest Pain Center Coordinator who reports directly to the Quality Director, is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the Key Elements of the Chest Pain Center Accreditation/Stroke Certification process, including development and review of protocols, initial and ongoing training, performance improvement and community outreach. This will be achieved by collaborating with the Emergency Department, ED Director, the Chest pain Committee, Stroke Committee, EMS, hospital department directors and staff. Qualifications Education and Work Experience Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. A minimum of three (3) years experience in an acute care hospital environment Excellent clinical, interpersonal and communication skills essential. Team approach to patient care. Working knowledge of computers and computer applications. Day and evening flexibility required. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. #LI-MB4
