Key Responsibilities:

The Lead Patient Access Coordinator is vital in maintaining efficient patient flow, ensuring accurate registration, optimizing Point of Service collections, and delivering exceptional customer service. Duties include overseeing break schedules, managing patient volume variations, and serving as a point of reference for staff regarding policies and procedures. The Lead Coordinator exemplifies outstanding customer service and maintains professionalism in interactions with patients, visitors, healthcare providers, and team members.

Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory
- In-depth knowledge of Patient Access is essential; Certification as a Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) is preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven leadership and management capabilities
- Highly detail-oriented
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Capacity to handle various demands and perform well under pressure
