About the Facility
Dallas Regional Medical Center is a 202-bed acute care facility recognized for its commitment to excellence in healthcare. The center is accredited by The Joint Commission and provides a comprehensive range of medical services, including emergency care, cardiology, surgical services, and imaging. It is distinguished as the only Certified Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center in the vicinity.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.
- Guide and educate patients and their families regarding care plans and health management.
- Oversee the activities of nursing staff while ensuring compliance with care standards.
Qualifications
- Valid RN License in the state.
- Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred within 30 days of hire.
- Experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of ventilator management is advantageous.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
